Day 1

Hadrian’s map led us to this new cave system beneath Dagger. The further down we go the colder it seems to get.

Day 3

Another day of digging. Nothing interesting of note, but hopefully soon we’ll find a chamber or some sort of burial chamber.

Day 7

Jain, one of the diggers, struck upon an outer-wall of a chamber today! It’s amazing how these old mages could, with expertly summoned moongate spells, carve out solid rock and ice with just magic.

Day 8

No doubt about it! This is the burial chamber of Ouzday the Lich. All that research Grinhelda did before leaving paid off as we were able to identify Ouzday’s sarcophagus instantly. A worry begins to nag me, though.. If Ouzday turned himself into a lich, why was he buried? And where is his phylactery?

Day 10

I’ve told everyone we must leave! If the Phylactery isn’t found and destroyed, who knows what could rise out of that sarcophagus! Still they do not listen..

Day 12

I cannot believe how quickly it has all fallen apart. How fast everyone turned upon each other. How beautiful our blood looks upon the ice floor.
