Title: Yearly Realm Report
Author: Cogniac
In the interests of improving the realm in the coming year, this report is a compilation derived from a cross-disciplinary survey of the citizenry at large across Britannia. Several groups conveyed their needs and desires as follows:
- The Rangers of Skara Brae: After another year of tireless work protecting and curating the woodlands and wilder places, the rangers seek only greater recognition from the crown for their hard work.
- The Miners of Minoc: The miners' ceaseless toil extracting ores, minerals, and gems from Mount Kendall leaves their bodies in a deleterious state; aching backs, tweaked knees, tired and callused feet and hands. These heroic workers want merely for better health, either through increased oversight from the crown's healers, or perhaps by use of the latest mechanical and/or magical tooling to reduce the strain on their bodies.
- The Mages of Moonglow - The wizened mages of the Lyceum desire a greater degree of trust. They seek to remind the crown that they exist as an autonomous council that is well able to see to its own affairs without the constant central government.
- The Farmers of Britain - The humble farmers require general financial aid and donations of food, as times are tough and they find themselves to be barely scraping by in their meager existences. Most recently, the onion crop has failed, falling to a mysterious and deadly rot, leaving them short both on sustenance and goods for market.
- The Sailors of Vesper
- These navigators of the
seas seek greater
protection
myriad pirates that have
proliferated in our
waters, particularly
around Jhelom. One
hapless soul was even
found shipwrecked on
Dragon Isle after one
such attack. It seems
there is a need for
patrols by the Royal
Guard to thwart and
reduce this growing and
deadly threat.
