Title: House of the Chalice

Author:

In the annals of our realm's history there can be found references to a greater darkness, a time of warfare and bitter dispute, a time of great suffering and overhwhelming chaos. Many a man fought to establish control, looking to quell the anarchy among the warring houses. Many great houses fought for the right to govern, to rule. Yet, when one Great House siezed the mantle of power, it was only a matter of time before internal and external strife would topple these.

The penalty for failure would, more often than not, lead to total ruin.

And so it went, chaos feeding ruin, ruin feeding misery. The lust for power and control sullied many a great name, and many respected leaders sunk to great depths in their attempts to harness power for their own ends. But in this chaos arose a house steeped in the traditions and dogma of the Virtues. Led by their founder Lord Xavier, their dogged adhearance to a strict code of Honor, even when dealing with their most loathed enemies, turned the tides and won them great respect amongst the citizen of greater Trinsic.

Their success in Trinsic earned them accolades from throughout the realm, and garnered them the Honorific of The House of the Chalice. To this day the legendary House of the Chalice is known as the catalyst that inspired peace and unity among the citizens of Trinsic.
