Avelina sat on the floor of the Councilors Guild Hall. She looked up at the walls and tried to envision where everyone would sit. Kitty, her cat, sat in her lap as she hummed softly.

Days before, she seemed to accidentally cause a disruption while the Mayor was speaking, resulting in tears and a very angry Samon Triest. The thought of ‘her’ Mayor feeling bad due to her actions ate her up. She felt terrible. So she began to plot.

The next day, after she awoke, she rallied together a few of the citizens in secrecy and let them in on her plan. ”Hi there! I bet you’re wonderin’ why I brought you here. I need help! We are going to throw a big party for the Mayor and Vice-Mayor to show ‘em how much we care! But, shhhh,” she placed her finger over her mouth, ”It must be a surprise!” She let out a happy giggle and then proceeded to take each citizen aside, delegating to them their very important tasks.

As she sat on the red carpet, Kitty in her lap, she could see the entire evening before her. Raffles, Pie eating contests, Presents, Food. Everything she could possibly think of to make the Mayors happy, especially Mister Triest. She laid back on the rug, took a sip of her wine and reveled in her own happiness.
