She was exhausted, but still continued to step carefully forward as Beowulf led her. He seemed so excited about this surprise, normally she would smash his spirits, but lately she had been different. She gripped his hand tightly as he led her, she walked very slowly. She had been so exhausted and worried about getting the house ready for the babies.

Beowulf stopped and reached to pull off her blindfold. ”Okay, ready?” He asked excitedly. She nodded, hoping this excursion was worth her energy.

The cloth fell from her eyes and she looked forward at a large foundation. He didn’t. But he did. She was staring at the foundation of her new home. Directly behind the foundation she could see the road just outside of Umbra. She hugged him as tightly as the large belly between them would allow her to.

”Construction has already begun and I have hired decorators too, so you can just sit back and relax. I hope you like it.”

”We should keep the blindfold.” She smiled and stared at what would be their new home.
