Wisty sat next to Adara her hand roaming over the girls cool forehead. Adara was pale, and quiet, the fevers quelled at the moment, and in a state she had now been for months.

Her mother, pregnant with a new child felt a drowning sense of hopelessness surrounding her young daughter. At least the child could be fed somewhat, to keep her alive, no more rejection of food taking place. Yet Wisty knew, this really was not living. So desperation gave her over to consider things which would normally not be done.

Jonathan Strathmore stood at the doorway his presence like a dark omen upon the house. It had been quite some time since Wisty had seen that which her father had once called doctor.

I thought I should never see this day...

He was very professional and right to the point a small smile curving his lips only once, and only for a brief moment. The deal was simple, he would cure Adara, in trade for the Nightshade doll in her possession. Wisteria shuddered, this item Toren had told her speciifcally never to give away. She knew that giving it to her had created new meaning between he and she. That he had let go and given his love to her...

To part with it in itself was heartwrenching. What of Nightshade, she did not beleive Jonathan's statements of non ill intent. What of the children and this is where the cruxes of everything lay. Nyxanna, Tyranis, Dethn, they were her own kin. What if her actions brought danger to them. She had laid sleepless nights pondering, and now she begged him to not harm them.

It really boiled down to one point for Wisteria, all else aside, whom could protect themselves, her sister or her daughter. Who had strength and power at her disposal, and whose life would she trade? Would she protect her sister whom had brought her nothing but ill for years and sacrifice her young daughters quality of life? Or would she let Nightshade deal with the dangers she had wrought upon her own head, and save and protect her own. It really doesnt take much thought, and she was certain she could see the gleam in Jon's eyes as she handed over a most precious item, as she gave Torens love away....
