Drayden had overslept that morning. The sunlight shining into his eyes burned him slightly and made him start out of bed. Shaking the sleep from himself he made his way downstairs, pulling on his robes and cloak to ward off the chill in this northern part of Britannia.

"Kal Ort Por", he spoke quietly as he walked beyond the threshold of his stone tower. The winds of magic carried him quickly to Vesper, so that he could check with the messenger service there to recieve whatever might have come in the past few days.

He frowned as the comely girl handed him a single sealed envelope. He recognized the seal of House Ventrue. "Thank you my dear," The dark elf turned away, and even if the girl did reply, his ears would not hear her words. As he walked outside into the quiet morning streets of Vesper, he opened the envelope, reading it quickly.

His frown grew, reading the words that Gailan had sent him. The syntax suggested that he had sent this to those involved. Drayden merely shook his head, still looking at the words "pulling my nomination". With a long sigh he recalled to his home. It seemed the one he liked most could not....or would not continue on. Whichever the case, it would need to be investigated immediately.
