Aurelia knew she was in too deep. Aligning herself with the Dark Order was a mistake, but she was well aware of the consequences of turning back now. She was frightened by nearly everyone that surrounded her in cove with the exception of Lady Ditto. Her life in the shadow division was one that she could have only thought true in nightmares, but this was no dream. What would her parents think of her now? That was the question that echoed in her mind. She took a leap from a proper young lady from Britain to a thief and harlot. The benefits she reaped did not ease her conscience as she believed prior.

She felt in the beginning that her missions could not be that hard, but she was once again deceiving herself. Catching the attention of men had never been much of an issue for her, but that was before she met the faithful men of Sanctus. She was making no progress in finding substantial information to return to Cove with. The thought of going back there, months into her mission, with no information, scared her. So she ran. She hid herself in the outskirts of Britain in the abandoned home of her late parents.

Much to her disappointment the sense of fear never left. She tried her best to comfort herself with the warmth of another’s body, but nothing seemed to help. She knew that eventually they would find her and that thought haunted her every dream.

The warm body that regularly frequented lay next to her. The stench of alcohol upon his breath made her stomach turn. She stood to pull her silk gown over her, but was quickly struck down. She reached to try and sooth the throbbing pain with her hand. Her head was pounding. He stood over her, clearly intoxicated and clearly angry.

”If I am not the only man to have you,” he pressed against her, “then no one shall have you.”

She scrambled to pull herself to her feet as he continued to press forward. She placed her back against the dresser and she tried her best to open the drawer. She knew a dagger sat in the drawer, but she could not reach it and before she knew it his hands grabbed a hold of her. He threw her onto the bed and reached quickly for the pillow. She could feel her head throbbing as he covered her face. The mass of his body held her down as she grasped for breath. She flailed her arms around trying her best to knock him off. He faltered and she took her chance to grab the bottle of ale sitting on the nightstand.

The bottle swung at his head. He fell backwards against the armoire and she darted towards the dresser. He ran at her, much more enraged then before. His hands gripped around her throat as she struggled against him. She knew if she hesitated any longer she would be dead. With one swift motion the dagger went into his stomach. The expression of shock on his face was far different than the expression of shock on hers. He fell backward onto the floor, but he continued to breath. She looked down at the dagger and nearly fainted at the sight of blood. For once in a great deal of time, her thoughts went back to memories of living in Cove. If it were not for Shadow Skull, she would have fainted and possibly been killed just then, but she took in a deep breath and stayed standing.

Something clicked within her and the anger and rage flowing through her body allowed her to lift the dagger once again and pierce the man’s skin, not once again, but many times. His breathing stopped and she stood over his body. She did not hesitate long before she ripped the bloody gown from her body. She took care of his body by burying it far into the woods and then cleaned herself off, packing as much as she could carry.

She knew now where she belonged and where she must return. She headed out of the door and made her way as quickly as possible back to Cove, never once turning back.

In the dining hall of Keep Armunn, Imryrr sat with her books upon the table, going over the guild records when she came across a familiar name..

Aurelia Dalry

Daily she thought of her and wondered how she fared, or if she fared at all. With one as frail and ladylike as she was, there was a good chance her sister had come to a terrible end. Or.., Imryrr tilted her head, it was possible that Aurelia had perhaps found an extremely rich man to take up with.

Taking the parchment with Aurelia's name upon it, she stared hard at it, as if imprinting her thoughts into the name. If you do not return home soon sister, we will find you, dead or alive. And if you have betrayed us, then I wish for your sake we find you dead.
