It's simple really. You RP dating/getting married...then you RP getting pregnant. Someone has to replenish the society...babies don't come out of thing air.

*laughs* No worries, I'm fully with you on the confusion. I *understand* how the RP is done, but IMO it's completely and utterly lame to be like "Lol I got my char married off, now I'll RP a 1 month pregnancy, and then on to RP the childen as fully sprouted adults within the next month!"

*sighs* And it happens sooooooooooo much. No offense to anyone that does it mind you, we all play as we wish, but *I* do think it's weak.

Umbra actually has rp as to why their kids grow so fast. They inject them with crazy super steroids/magic craziness that ages the kids about a year a week. Makes it cooler that way...best as can be explained at least.

We have actually scared a few pregnant femmie lightbringers by offering them our super steroids!

And for the record, we rped Mallory as being pregnant during our joint hiatus from UO, and no, unlike most the child was not a honeymoon baby...

It is difficult to rp it in UO, but until they bring into UO some of the features of SL, I don't see UO characters really being able to RP it as realistically...

And then I don't think it will be considered a PG13 game anymore either...
