Tia sat at the table in the main hall, going over some of the new laws for the Regency, when a messenger came in with a letter. Carefully she read the translation and decided to pen a reply:

Lord Garrick Koertig,

I have received your letter and am interested in establishing trade with you. Please let me know at your earliest convenience when you would wish a meeting to discuss this venture further.

Ceinwyn looks the letter over. It seemed to be written in a strange language.

is this some odd form of Gargish?

She wrote a letter in common speak, deciding it would be the best way to handle it.

Imryrr read over the odd words of the now bloody message and shook her head. On the floor by the throne was what the shadow wraith had left of the messenger. Raising her kryss high into the air, she brought it down over the body's neck to decapitate it.
She called forth a servant to bring her quill and parchment and wrote a missive to the Lady Alessandra.

Sister & Lady Alessandra,

I send you this note found on the body of a would be messenger. I cannot decipher it's meaning, but it appears to be from someone who at least thinks themselves important.

If you, being the Dark Order liason, and with your knowledge of the different governments could decipher it and return the meaning to me in common, it would be appreciated. However, if deciphering fails, then please send to them a reply of this severed head of their messenger.
