Time at home with the family had been precious and sparse since the attack on Magincia had begun. The gypsy had seen it coming in her large crystal globe yet not knowing the cause nor how to avoid the influx of the massive creatures. The Patrona of Magincia had raced to work removing all the citizens who were not guards or capable of defending the city. The bakers, the jewelers, the tailors, all the bankers save one. She took along families and two healers. Before heading out she sent out a call to Spiritwood and Trinsic for healers and warriors and left it to Isk and the boys to gather the rest of the warriors

She took the citizens to the gypsy encampment she thought was the furthest from Magincia to prevent them from getting news from outsiders and to keep them from wanting to race back in futility to help those left behind. Speaking with fellow gypsies it was agreed they would take these people in and train them to live completely off the land, teaching them the skills they would need to survive for what Lady Angelique knew would be a long time to come. They would not pass along any information they saw in crystals or other gypsy means of Magincia. If asked the response was "all I can see is a dark cloud, I cannot see through it." In return the Patrona paid handsomely in gold and diamonds, and the Magincians built fences and a small structure during their training.

Angelique had returned to Magincia as swiftly as she could and fought the night shift along side Athlon to try and save the isle. Seeing Isk at change of shift one eve in his dark armor of The Hand of Evil she began to think the creatures were here for the armor. She insisted he remove it but nothing changed on the isle. It came to attention that though he had removed it he was storing it all together on the isle in his chest. The Patrona begged and begged he remove it but he would not, could not. So she did what Isk was too weak to do. She took his armor and hid it all over the realm, separating the pieces so it was not strong to draw creatures.

The city guards and great warriors that had come from all over the realm to help them still had to kill off those creatures that were on the isle but onslaught slowed to an eventual silence. A ride over the isle showed the immense devastation, every building that was not sanctified was gone. All that remained was the Philosophe's Garden, The Memorial, The Bascillia, The Cultural Centre, and The Parliament. It would be a start but there was much rebuilding to do.

Returning immediately to the gypsy camp with Athlon and Auris at her side, The Patrona told the citizens of the devastation and as best she could a list of the dead and the living. They comforted each other all that night under the generosity of the gypsies before heading out. The citizens were moved a bit closer to Magincia but still several days ride out and divided into two nearby camps. One camp under Prince Auris' management would be chopping trees, making smooth boards and stockpiling them for rebuilding Magincia. The second camp under management of Prince Athlon would be mining stone and making squared blocks for rebuilding, saving the stone of the wrong shades for trade.

Free once again, Lady Angelique returned home to the husband and little ones she missed to the depths of her soul. Isk had used his spare time after the siege to build her a true gypsy tent on the roof of their tower. She had always had that gypsy urge to roam deep down. During the siege she cried until she had no more tears when she saw the tent over the Magincia Bathes was no more.

She stood on the roof holding her husband around the waist as she stared in amazement at the tent he had saved from Magincia and was moved to tears.
