I have an Idea for a new character that I would like to start rping but I need to know from all you crafter types. before yall start telling me I am crazy (I already know this)
Ok my question is can dragon scale armour be enhanced with runic hammers.
My second question is why would uo make something that looks so cool but is pratically useless in the game.

I don't think you can even make dragonscale hammers anymore.

You also have to understand that Dragonscale armor came out before AoS (I could be wrong). Therefore there was no worry about resists suckething.

I will test the enhancing, but I bet you can't.

Speaking of character concepts, I've had the idea of playing the pet golem of a mage for a while. More warforged in appearance rather than UO golem though, except that I would have much less emotions than a warforged.

Tai if you can even if you cant enchance it can you make me a suit need the helm black scales, arms black scales, legs black scales, breast plate red and the gloves red scales I will replace your scales or pay you for the suit.

You can MAKE Dragon Scale armor with runic hammers, yes.
Not enhance.

I know one person who has a 100% LRC dragon scale armor suit, mage. He told me he burned about 15 hammers on it Razz

Dunno. He bank sits alot of Brit, I bought some M-arties off him once, he sounded really proud. It seems like Dragon Armor is just plan spastic, I saw a Mage piece with 30 physical on it.

I've often made dragon scale armor on test center because its the only armor that can achieve mid 30's in a resist and sometimes it can be dang useful, though I don't know of anyone that burns runic hammers on anything other than weapons on real shards.
Also every pvp suit is built around a few arties so I've never worn a full dragon scale suit before just arms or gloves generally.

Valorite Hammer made Valorite Plate can reach 30's in one or two resists. A friend of mine has a Valorite Plate sunadetasdkjasrt (arm piece) with 34 phys.

I've actually burned a few aggy+ runics on dragon scale before. You don't get so many nice pieces with it, but in the end, if you manage to piece together somethin snazzy, it's well worth it for personal vindication.

ok well it looks like I need alot of scales then to try and put together a good suit. where do you get the black scales from? I know all the rest I just need the black ones. anybody have a couple thousand black and red dragon scales they want to sell. oh and does anybody know if dragon scale armour can be dyed.

Dye them? no! tokuno dyes maybe? never tried..
