Not sure if this is a big issue or not...

When I played in BoC (and for those of you that have also..) around the boarders of Cove are water barrels. They're to be RPed as "Walls" surrounding the town limits etc..

I was wondering if anyone had anything against that idea? I'm currently trying to finish my player made RP town, and I was debating putting the water barrels around the area to signify the town boarders and such...

Would that be a major problem? I know that if I ever start rping again (full time Razz..hell, even part time!) and that if I chose to use the town, I wouldn't expect each and every RPer to run around the walls etc... But I thought it may be cool to try and roleplay it as such.

Not sure if Stormhaven or Rivendell (spelling) did this or not! Opinions or what have you please!

As for the town itself, I'm building RP storys/history/lore as to how it's going to be erected.

I personally think the barrel look is annoying. But I don't see a problem other than it bugging me lol

pros and cons. it looks bad to some people, and it would be cooler is they stacked.

they would be cool for sieging cause you have to empty them while you attack.

but then 5000 pitchers on the ground looks ugly too.

They do stack, place an empty barrel, then place an empty barrel on top of it, then if you want place a third barrel on top of them both, then fill all three, viola, a 3 stacked wall. Very useful in Factions for setting macros to energy field.

Cheers,

Stormhaven did use some barrels before to mark some boundaries, but not allllll the way, we also used them to make a fighting pit in the farm behind us.

Its not a horrible idea for marking boundaries, though you could just space them out so its not so horrible looking.

Rivendell didn't use barrels but I think the 3 stack barrel wall is an awesome idea. We could all help you collect them.
