from the desk of Surien Dale, Scribe - The Eastland Coalition
Looking up wearily, the Knight rubbed his whiskered face briskly. It was rough to the touch and a reminder of the days of meetings, conferences and planning that had begun after the erection of the Britain Guild Office. He moved to his drooping eyes, clearing them of the stress that marred his face.

The Knight gave a loud cry, rolling over and reaching for the dagger at his belt. The assailant quickly backed into the corner and gave a yellow-toothed grin before fading into the shadows and drifting through the walls.
The Knight was panting heavily, eyeing the shadows and backing slowly to the door. Turning, he escaped from the room; stumbling down the stairs and calling for his guards.... _________________ To kill a non-believer tis not murder, tis the path to enlightenment... |
