Quote: |
Citizens of Britannia!
Know that the Royal Council, in unanimous and glorious unity, has elected from amongst their noble selves a new man of the people, and for the people. Know that the Royal Ambassador Casca has been raised up to lead the people of Britannia in her times of peril and peace, as King pro-tempore, with all rights, statuses, and honors thereof.
Know that Lord Casca, ruler of the Kingdom of Britannia, shall lead his people with humility and grace, always striving for the greater good, always seeking to honor the Virtues our most just and magnanimous founder, our once and future king.
Know that this decision comes at a time of great uncertainty and trouble for the Kingdom, and that even our Lord Casca has been touched by these events. He hath survived the evil designs of evil men, who sought only to rain chaos down upon fair Britannia. Even as his noble brethren fell to fates most ignominious, he hath been preserved through his own power and prowess, an exemplar for the common man!
All hail Lord Casca, All hail our King! |
What exactly are we going to do about this _________________ Work in Progress.

The Regency existed while British was on the throne. So I'd imagine it'd be something similar. _________________

Casca is evil. He is working for bad guys. It's true.
Still though, he is in place now, and that will have to be followed. To ignore it is to godmode the writers of EA and the EMs. That's my view. If it had happened in Umbra, I would IC give some speech about operating in the background, while whoever was appointed operated in the foreground... like an underground thing.
I guess one idea is that the protectorate could serve Casca, Isk being the leading representative. |

Ofcourse Casca is evil, he pinned the one free man in Sosoria, Ricardo! Not to mention he slipped out on the entire destruction of the council [which was awesome] Personally I'm going to have to tell you all to cast off the government entirely, burn your clothes and dance naked in the meadow of freedom, but apparently that makes me insane so HAH! _________________ Work in Progress.

Casca?
Well I sure hope he does not join the Kazon in hopes of giving them our technology because that will only result with him getting impregnated with Chakotay's baby.

During the initial blackrock detector plot, Greypawn and myself RPed a good deal in the final days on behalf of the Mages' Council and the Royal Council. Greypawn rply claiming to have a seat on the Mages' Council and Adrien on the Royal Council as a means of bringing the actual game content into the RP scene flawlessly.
In this situation, as in that one, I'd say the best concept to run with is as follows:
The Governor-Regent acts as a go-between between the Governorships of Britannia and her allies to the Royal-Council being the only member of the council decided by the people, and so the Governor-Regent becomes in situations where the council steps up and takes direct control, an executor of their will as Adrien became during the blackrock device storyline.
So Isk could be Casca's representative to the Protectorate, and in charge with it's regular governance while backing any plans, events or storylines Casca be used. |
