Hail All,
My name is Wolfthistle and I am fairly new to these boards. This is only my second post. You can find my first post, which is a bit of a bio about my guild and I, of which I am GM, here:
http://www.atlanticcommunityboard.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19777
I wanted to post to this board to show my interest in joining your community. To this end I would like to tell you a bit about myself.
I am a long-term player, who has just recently returned to roleplaying, having not roleplayed much since before the Age of Shadows. About 6 months ago, I created my guild, the House of Wolfthistle (H*W) with the intention of using it for roleplaying, but I wasn't sure how to go about getting into it. An opportunity came within the last month when a member of the Legion of Honor smacked me with a snowball while I was tending to my vendors, and I had an absolute blast. I didn't realize how much I missed roleplay until I was able to do it again. After getting to know the Legion and its guild leader, Lord Malo a bit better I was introduced to Lady Mariah of the Riders of Justice. After telling Lady Mariah an abbreviated version of the story that I have linked to above, the House of Wolfthistle was invited to join the United Alliance, which we have accepted.
I am very excited at the prospect of roleplaying again and it has already breathed new life into this game for me. I will be trying to attend Tavern nights when i can, with some of my guildmates if possible, and am very excited at the prospect of meeting all of you and playing with you. I hope that the House of Wolfthistle may become an accepted part of your community at some point in the future.
Sincerely,
Wolfthistle. |

*smiles at everyone*
Thank you everyone for your kind words of welcome!
To Beowulf, thank you for the compliment on the story.
To Ceinwyn, I remember you from the blood drive. I wish that I could spare them their blood lust, however they must be willing participants - and I find that many vampires are simply not willing to undergo the ceremony. Any who wish to be free of the blood lust are welcome to approach us though. *smiles*
To Ariana - yes I remember you from the blood drive as well. It was a fun and well thought out event, and I look forward to seeing you at events and scenario's in the future.
To Arakad, gypsy_merrique, and Malicite - thank you for your warm words of welcome and offers to help. I appreciate it a lot.
And to all of you, I am looking forward to meeting you all and rp'ing with you all in game.
Thanks again for making me feel so welcome!
Sincerely,
Wolfthistle |
