Yes Phyrra, I remember you this time. Smile

You and I would talk whenever I was on UO last, and we enjoyed what RP we could share together, whenever we could. If and when I bring Dan back around, we should talk again sometime. And it won't have to be in Umbra, the center of the universe! Wink

Sounds like a plan. Hit me up when you decide to come back. I'm around here and there. Btw.. Don't listen to all these WoW haters. They don't know what they're missing! I've quit WoW more times than UO and keep going back so it's much more addicting. Hehe

UO for RP
WoW for PvE
DF for PvP

That's how it goes.

Console gaming still pwns anything DF can do.

I pretty much agree on this statement except for the DF part. Smile

Console i've always thought was more competitve, it takes the strength of your system out of the picture with everyone running the same machine.

While that is a good thing, I much prefer the mouse/keyboard set up as opposed to the controller set up. It's much smoother, imo, and more precise.

Depends on the game, FPS are alright with a controller some things are a pain in the ass to do.
But RPGs are smoother with a keyboard/mouse and so are Real Time Strategy and Turn Based Strategy games.

But I have Cod4 for the PC, and CoD:WaW on my xbox360 and I much prefer the xbox when I play online. And it isn't because one game is better than the other (Though I do prefer CoD4, there have been too many WW2 simulators in the CoD series)

Ok everyone, DAN IS BACK ON UO!!!

Unfortunately though, I don't have the money to do a name change and be Dan again, so for the mean time I'm going to remain as Gryss ab'Arawn. If any of you are familiar with the character, he dwells in Umbra and has never really lived anywhere else if you'd like to find'm.

Also, I don't know if any of you guys have had this problem, but I can't seem to be able to join the Minax Faction stone for some reason. Whenever I double clicked the stone it didn't activate or do anything for me. When I checked to see if I was already in a faction, I couldn't find one so I just presumed I was factionless. How do I get my character to join a faction?

Recently, we have had a person trying to get back into MTC run into that same problem, Dan. We are searching for a solution, so if we find one, we will give you the hook up.

Try temporarily removing the "Desktop" folder from your game directory. Then log back in, and see if that works. Then whether it does or doesn't, move the folder back in and overwrite any newly made files. There -is- a chance this could F up all your macros and such, but that's more so with how UO handles macro/desktop 'importing.'
