In my last act as Mayor of Moonglow, I declare an open state of war between the Moonglow Town Council and the current occupational forces of Nujel'm under the command of Tai Kwan Leap.

Attempts to resolve issues of succession have failed, and diplomatic discussions have fallen through. Moonglow declares a state of war having full justification and casus belli against the Otori for denying not one, but two legitimate claims to the Throne of Nujel'm and the dynastic succession of the De'Fiona family lineage.

Other nation-states please take note: this is not a reiteration of Moonglow's historical invasion of Nujel'm, but rather a function of police action. We will not be executing the current extant government, and will take steps to ensure that as few casualties as possible result from this action. Any prisoners of war will be surrendered to the Protectorate as a neutral third party.
