The torches of the guild hall flaired as Reine and Lexi, Lestat and Merci's daughters stood facing down one Darrien Church. Lexi new the danger that was being faced but Reine was only beginning to know her demons wings, curling about her, her hand running to her stomach to protect the babes.

She would not back down tho, he should not be here. Darrien Church demanded the Wolf King or an Elder and Reine new by the looks that Lexi gave her she best refer to her Mother as the Oracle. She rushed off to find Her mother. Her releif was great as the wolves broke into chorus, they had already alerted the wolf king and he stood in front of the hall.

He took the stairs fast she could feel the raw anger flowing from him and she stepped aside. Not far behind him was the Inciendiary, Malikhia. They stood side by side. The Wolf King refuted the Lich Lords offer. Then raising his weapon brought it down upon the Lich Lord. Of course, he was a Lich Lord, he did not perish but left to return himself to rematerialize again in Umbra.

The hour was late, and a few others poured into the guild hall, the sound of Orcs outside. What timeing Reine thought. She was not armoured, she was heavy with child but she would fight.. As her mother did before her, nothing would stop her from battle, from protecting her people and their lands. It was then that Lexi said to Reine....I got your back Sister..

The wealth of meaning in these two that never got along was clear. So the battle broke out the orcs refusing to leave with out tributes or victims. Stonegate would do neither and so blood was shed. Reine injured in battle, her lack of armour landing a jolting impact to her body.

They had reassemblied within their hall, the Orcs gone, the Wolf king sitting deep in thought and Reine kneeled before him. He looked down at her. You remind me of your mother.. Pride swept thru her to be compared to Merci, Reine felt that all her risk had been worth it to earn the approval of her clan. Many had doubted whether she would be able to uphold the rigorous training while pregnant. She had proven herself. It was then that the first pain hit her and she doubled over. Her labor had begun. Malikhia himself, scooped up his student and carried her to the table upstairs. There Crickette saw to the birthings and Tyranis arrived just in time.

Like their father the young ones were born in this hall of war. Like their Grandparents, their parents, their people, they would be strong...
