As Sid was sitting around the hearth with his new Lady. This Lady had arrived at just the right time and her name was Snowy. The name itself was somewhat intriguing ,but the color of her hair was the color of spun platinum. with a iron hand installed, the future of Yew was safe and it was time for Sid to enjoy some of the fruits of his labor. The Royal sloop was ready and he was looking forward to some traveling and hopefully being an Ambassador to Yew while Thraxas led the Government . The time was growing late and Snowy had some errands to do in the morning,they settled back and went to sleep. Sid woke up early and decided not to wake her . He began to write her a note by the light of the freshly stoked fire.

I am so glad you wish to be my companion and I wish to give you all my heart and offer you a trip of a lifetime ,I will be checking the boat this morning and hope to depart right after the meeting at the castle in Britain, I would like to extend my hand to join yours and hope you will accompany me to the castle and then on to a voyage of the known world ,where we shall meet some old freinds and make new ones.

Snowy starts to wake up and smiles...as she moves around she feels something under her pillow. Carefully she pulls out a piece of paper as she unfolds it, a warm smile lifts her lips because tis from Sid. As Snowy starts to read it, her face lights up even more. Holding the note close to her chest, her joy cannot be contained. Running to her closet, her mind a flurry of thoughts on what to wear, she pulls a million things out of her closet. Snowy must have the perfect outfit tonight!

Sid comes running into the castle and see's Snowy surrounded by many fine garments, he says "I hate to bother you but the sloop is ready and we need to leave on the evening tide" she gave him the evil eye and blew him a kiss and turned around and began sorting for each chest ,she looked around ,not surpirised she said "it will go quicker if you not there staring at me with such contempteous eyes". Sid turned around and began going over the charts for thier trip.

Back to sorting chest after chest, looking over her shoulder, Snowy notices eyes staring towards her. She softly whispers, " I see you looking over here, if you want me to hurry you best stop giving me those sweet eyes & smile of yours."

After waiting a very short amount of time ,Sid yells down the hall "its time to go hurry up M'Lady the gang is ready to transport you to the boat" and with a flip of his cape he went to the docks to await her arrival.

Snowy grabs her small bag and looks at the door at the people that are waiting to transport her to the boat. She walks up to them and ask if one of them can get the rest of her stuff and take it to the boat. She follows them to the boat and sees Sid waiting for her there with a smile on his face. She smiles as she gets closer.

"about time the tide is leaving" Sid exclaimed he turns to the pressgang working the pier and says"lets load it
and hoist the anchor" and looks to Snowy offering his hand "please my dear come aboard" The charts were laided
out marking the first route,after double checking,Sid noded with a certain degree of expertise. With all the
supplies loaded and stowed away Sid called out "prepare to make sail" with his hand still in her hand he leads her
off the boat and takes her to the front and hands her a bottle of yew wine. He looks at her and says "you get to
christen this ship name her" she looks at him and pauses....looks againand smash's the bottle against the keel,
"I name this ship for all who travel on her .... Swallow... for her speed and agilty" Sid looks at her and kiss's
her on the lips and takes her hand,as they travell over the gangplank its removed and Captain Sid says " heave around
those lines and make sail" and grabbing the wheel and having her next to him ,they began thier journey slowly out of
Yew harbor.

Snowy looks at Sid then reaches for his hand and smiles. Following him to the front of the boat, she notices a bottle of wine in Sid's hand. As he offers it to her, Snowy takes the bottle and smashes it against the keel of the ship. Her eyes widen as the foam sprays them both and she giggles even harder when she noticed its target was the embossed name that Sid gave the ship. On tiptoes, Snowy returns Sid's kiss and steps up on the gangway ready to take her place at Sid's side.

The sun was setting in front of them as they sailed west,giving the sky a red hue. Sid pulls her closer and put his arm around her and
whispered" red sky at night, sailors delight and red sky in the morning ,sailors take warning " she looked at him at smiled . Her hair was
also reflecting the light and had a warm red shine ,like a fireplace on a cold night. He brings out the charts and shows her all the stops
and also noted on the somewhat worn parchment sheets fine notes with locations marked. She asked "what are those marks" and he explained
that these are his charts from his many years at sea and those were points of interest or engagements with the enemy. The sun settled
partway in to oceans horizon and Sid said "watch this at the very point the sun goes below the water you will see a green diamond shaped
flash of of light and perhaps a hissing sound" they waited and watched breifly and the sun did emit a green flash and it dissapeared below
the waves. He called down below " next watch I set the course stay west untill this point then turn south I shall be below" and he
turned to Snowy "shall we eat and retire for the eve?

Snowy feels Sid's arm around her waist as he pulls her closer to him.She looks out at the sky and listens to Sid's words as he tells her about the red sky. Snowy then looks down and watches Sid pulls out the charts. "Snowy thinks to herself about all this and a smile comes across her face because she is very happy where she is at" She looks at Sid and giggles a little as she makes a remark. A lot of marks there Dear. Snowy looks up and notice that the sun is setting and she sees a green diamond shape. As soon as it dissapeared below the waves she looks to Sid... She giggles a little and whispers.. "Please lead the way Dear.."

Sid offers his hand to Snowy so they can head down below to retire for the eve. As Snowy walks down the steps she notice the small cabin. It has been furnished well. As they walk down the last few steps, Snowy notice it is split up into looks like three small rooms. She looks at Sid then lets go of his hand so she can look around at the place to get the feel of things. She notice a public area a bathroom and a small room to the side there. Snowy peeks in the small room to the side and notice its set up for a lady. Snowy walks back to the public area where she see Sid standing there watching her look around. She smiles as she gets closer to him. She stands on her tippie toes and gives him a soft quick peek of the lips. Sid turns to sit on the couch and pats the seat next to him for Snowy to join him. She walks over and sits next to me, she lets out a little breath as to fianlly sit down. Snowy leans over and whispers to him. This is nice. They sat on the couch talking over the stops they are going to be doing.

"Snowy thought to herself of all the shopping she will be enjoying." Sounds wonderful Sid.

Snowy looks up and notice Kelly, Sid's cook from the castle coming over to them. Kelly leans down and whisper to Sid that dinner was ready for them. Sid nods and then waves Kelly on. Sid looks at Snowy and places his hand on hers and motions for her to come with him that dinner was ready for them.

After they got done eating, Snowy and Sid return to the couch. They picked up where they were last time they were talking on the couch about the trip and all the stops they will be making. Snowy leans over and snuggles into Sids arms as they sit there enjoying each other company. Snowy looks up and kisses Sid on his chin then lays her head back on Sid's chest. She felt Sid arm tighten up a little on her as she lay there.

You know Dear.. This is nice but is there any way you can have the help leave? Sid looks down and kisses Snowy on her head and said your wish is granted. Now Snowy and Sid are alone at last. Snowy runs her hand over Sids chest and looks up and waits for Sid to look down at her, As he look down she leans up and places her soft lips on his and gives him a sweet but long passion of a kiss. She can feel both of his arms around her now as they kiss. Snowy can feel her body going weak under his touch and kiss. She felt there was nothing around them but just them.

She was so happy that she found someone that was so caring and loving. She felt it might be a dream. Sid and Snowy just looked at each other and smile. Sid looks down and ask Snowy should we retire to the bed? Snowy pulls away a little and looks at him with a soft smile.

Snowy looks down at her hand then back up at Sid and lets out a little laughter. Oh dear, You should know better. Snowy pats the couch and says to Sid. This is where your going to sleep I am going to sleep in the other room alone. Sid chuckles and said you are joking with me?

Snowy gets up and leans over and gives Sid another kiss and then turns around and heads to the other room, She walks in the room then comes back out with a pillow and a blanket and hands it to Sid and smiles as she walks back to the room and closes her door.

"Snowy cleans up for bed and then lays there thinking of the day and the trip and how good Sid has been to her. She chuckles at the thought that he wanted more from her this evening. Snowy turns over and snuggles into the pillow and falls asleep with a smile on her face.

The Sloop sailed west untill about four am. and with the ships bells dinging four times the ship was alive with action.
Sid awoke on the couch and listened " new shift "he thought and he felt the turn to the south and the water was not as smooth
as the following seas they had be riding on. He got up and washed his face and got dressed .He peeked through the curtains to
the bedroom and saw Snowy sleeping. He arrived on the Quarterdeck and asked for thier position and was told that they had indeed
changed course and they were heading south. "we should be in Skara brea for lunch"he thought . The Helmsman looked at him *paused*
"Captain why are we so far from land wouldn't the trip be faster staying closer to land and Sid replyed "aye but this is not
about speed...this is about safty pirates stay along the coast line and we have a precious a.." suddenly an interuption from
the lookout "sail ahoy.due west travelling south by her lights" . Sid looked up "good eyes and keep an on on that ship I want to
know if she alters her course".With the break of the sun ,it began to get lighter and he pulled his sextant out of it's protective
box and began to clean the brass.
Eight bells rang out and he went down to his cabin and peeked around the corner of the curtain to the bedroom,he was caught she
was staring right at him,he cleared his throat "ahem breakfast is ready if you are feeling hungry and our first stop will be in
about four hours Skara brea"

Snowy looks up and sees Sid peeking around the corner from the curtains of the bedroom and she smiles at him. As she looks at him she pats her bed and motion for him to come sit next to her. Sid sits down next to her and runs his fingers over her cheek. Snowy touches his hands and smiles. She then looks up at him with a soft voice she ask him.. Dear..."Can we stop at the Verity Isle for Dinner?" If its not to much trouble. Sid leans down and kiss's her on her cheek....

After the good morning kiss , he looked into her eyes "Verity Isle I belive we could make that by evening please excuse me" and he walks briskly back to the quarterdeck and pulls out the charts and sextant. after some calculations he makes some marks on his chart "make new course come around hard due west and full sails gentlemen poste haste I want to be on the Island of Moonglow for dinner" and the crew roared " aye aye " . He went back down to his cabin and peeked around the curtain and then went in to the bedroom "Its done it could get a bit rough " perhaps after you get some breakfast *he lays down next to her* you can join me for a history lesson on the Verity Isle and we can lock the cabin door to make sure we are not disturbed " he said with a soft slyness.

Snowy looks at Sid and whispers... " Your going to spoil me." as she smiles at him. Nothing wrong with rough waters. I am sure you will keep me safe. "Snowy snuggles into Sid's arms and just lays there for a little bit. She whispers to him " Its time for me to get something to eat. Care to join me in the main area for something? Sid rubs his face in her neck. Sure lets go. They get up and Sid heads out while Snowy closes the curtains behind him. She tells him through the curtains. I will be out shorty My Dear. Few mins pass and Snowy comes out. Now I feel refresh and ready to eat. After they get done eating Snowy looks over to Sid and ask him about this "History lesson?" He was talking about.
