*A particularly odd sermon is rushed from the recesses of Charnel Hill and proclaimed by Heralds in the Streets of Umbra*

Quote:

Master of the Ebon Skull
The Overlord of Umbra
Lord of the Ebon Council & Master of Charnel Hill
Scion of the Order of the Ebon Skull & The Stygian Empire of the First Age of Sosaria
High-Priest of Oblivion
Wearer of the Ring of the Skull
Wearer of the Ring of the Arcane
Holder of the Tome of Nizar
Keeper of the Sacred Mirror of Morgaz
Protector of the Sacred Dogmas of the Stygian-Empire
Successor of the Lich Lords Nizar, Azalin, Admoreth and Levas
The Lich Lord Darrien Church the Ominpotent, divine will of Oblivion Incarnate
Speaks:

It is written in the most ancient tomes of the Scholomance that there once existed, in the time before British came to rule, in the First Age of the Skull two great nations. The first, the Stygian Empire of Oblivion, ruled from the First Caina upon what is now Dagger Isle by the Lich Lord Nizar of Sacred Memory & the Sacred Council of Thirteen. The second, a Holy and Luminous Paladin-Warrior nation of the Virtues based in present day Trinsic. It was of this great Stygian Nation that the people of Oblivion descend, of these Paladin Empire, the Line of Skyfire and the traditions of Sanctus.

It was once again from the recesses of the void beneath Dagger Island that the Ebon Skull called forth and sanctified a new Lich Lord, Azalin of Blessed Memory and a second city was built, more glorious then the first, upon the Island of Ice. Likewise, in the land of British the Empire of Stormhaven's Spires reached from the ashes of vanquished Trinsic and a new and powerful Paladin Empire with a Skyfire at it's throne rose into being. The ancient battle which defined the very astral placements of the world itself resumed and for near a century it raged, drawing into it all the world.

We gaze now at the land of Malas, knowing the teachings of Umbra before Lord Admoreth's rise in the age of Mardoth, and the beliefs our former master held to most devoutly and resolve, in all divine knowledge as has been directly divined to us from the Skull this great and sacred revelation:

Such is the nature of the multiverse! Many worlds, many Lich Lords, many Ebon Skulls! Malas was once a nation to rival that of the Old Stygian Empire of our ancestor Nizar! It was from Umbra, OUR Umbra, that a great Stygian Nation consecrated in Oblivion led by a Lich Emperor and held dear within the gaze of an Ebon Skull was ruled! From an Age when the Continent was whole, and containing of a great many more cities, nations and Kingdoms that these things came to pass. The great crumbling pyramid of the Desert, which resides on the very rim of our current domain overlooking the cold and empty sea of the Void was once the very heart of the grand Stygian Nation, the great and sacred Ebon Spire of the Lich Lord!

Let us look to the Desert...

Let us look to the Island of Ice...

May the broken chain forged anew...

All Hail the Lich Lord.
All Hail the Ebon Skull.
All Hail Queen Catherine Skyfire, most beloved servant of the Lich Lord
All Hail The Ebon Council
May Umbra Prosper Eternal Under Their Sacred & Entropic Gaze.
Etheng!
