The sun came late to the valley, its rays just peeking over the mountians to the east. Snow had fallen during the night and Korin stood on his balcony in nothing but a pair of short pants. Looking out over the valley Korin noticed for the first time how in the time before the sun hit the white snow, It was Grey. Korin took a sip of the wine he held in his left hand. The book that he held in his right behind his back was one of his old notebooks from history class that he took back in Umbra during his WIT training.
Grey he thought, With out Light there can be no Dark and combine both you get Grey. Korin moved the book around and held it up in the dim light.

With out the light there can be no dark. truely there are no such things as good and evil, for even a light bringer is capable of doing evil deeds. Just as one precieved as evil, was capable of doing good deeds. Good and evil are preceptions of man.

Korin read his notes again and again. He sat the book down and looked out into the valley His mind went over the words of his mother and the words of the Wolf King from a couple nights ago. Korin started to Laugh, it had all of a sudden hit him. Korin Laughed so hard that he spilled his wine, the crimson liqiud bleeding into the snow. Korin looked down at the crimsion snow around his feet.

"The blood of Stonegate" he said out loud, to no one.

Korin raised his face to the sky still laughing "Your outcasts, your shunned, They are my brothers and sisters, We are the Blood of Stonegate!" It was all perfectly clear to him now what his mother had been saying all along. Korin turned and started back inside his home, turning his head to look over his shoulder at the white snow that was now basking in the sun light Korin smile "good morning Stonegate, my brother and sisters."
