No doubt you've already learned about the corpses I found in the woods from those in camp. We either need to kill the murderer or we need to leave as soon as possible. It isn't safe here. We need to meet and talk over our next move.

Merrique has dispersed our people for the now, as I am sure you are aware. I fear it falls to us to take steps to reclaim, and resettle what is ours, mayhap even to the point of expanding what is ours. Call upon me when you know more. I fear this cannot end peaceably.
