Vendui Ilharess Kal'iksix lu' Ilharn Calamyr,

I write to you with a simple notice that was received from the gypsies of Minoc. It seems some sort of rogue vampire with minimal subtlety and probably thin bloodline has been actively causing trouble amongst their people. They are known as the Cappadocians and the particular offender appears to be a female. Though I have a good idea of whom she may be, I will withhold my judgment at this time.

I write this to inform you that the gypsies have suggested she may attempt to contact you for asylum or aid. While it falls to the Plenipotentiary Dealthagar to determine the specific course of action for the Order that should best be pursued, I would recommend you deny any assistance to this group of kindred. They were offered aid many months back and scorned our graciousness due to their insufferable arrogance.

While I do not understand what precisely the Herald's purposes are in regards to the Minocian gypsies, granting assistance to this vampire or her clan might be problematic in the future. This is by no means some sort of command or request to comply. Simply a mote of advice to our Umbran brethren.

Z'hin wun Oloth.
Magus Izrem Verin'Vlos.

A slave brings the note to the Matron for review and scurries away in fear of one of the Matron's mood swings. Kal'iksix scans the note and pens a reply.

Vendui Magus Izrem,
Bella Dos on the information. The gypsies peg Kelly as an idiot if that is what they believe she would do and they certainly have no idea about me. Granted yes, the Cappadocians and I have a history but in this time of conflict, I assure you that I will do whatever is in the best nature that will benefit me and my House. Additionally, should I be followed or tracked in my endeavors out of Shinduago Charnaggen, I will take this as a sign of mistrust on Lord Darrien's behalf and would have to question our friendship. As it seems, the Goddess is blessing the house with another offspring, I really don't see me risking the life of a future priestess over a silly vampire.
Additionally, I would question why the Order would want to protect such people as the gypsies as they certainly have no signs of allegiance to anything we stand for and as I feel are not to be trusted anyways. I would suggest to let the two battle it out on their own and keep to ourselves, turn our focus to the futile threat made by the lycans. But then again, I am not running the Order am I?
Again, thank you for the "advice".

Lil waela lueth waela ragar brorna lueth wund nind, kyorlin elghinn.
Matron Kal'iksix
First house of Shinduago Charnaggen

Kal'iksix rolls up the parchment and seals it with the house purple wax. She summons one of her obsidian spiders to deliver it to the Magus.
