Patient 001:

Vidish ground up a Gem of Salvation and mixed it with some Undying Flesh, making a paste.

Vidish rubbed the paste on Patient 001's skin but it was too grainy and tore at his flesh. Vidish then decided that the Gem of Salvation needed to be ground up into a finer powder. We waited to see if Patient 001's skin reacted to the balm.

We have decided that we may need Corpse Skin to be cast upon Patient 001 so that his skin will absorb the balm more quickly and thoroughly. Since neither of us practice necromancy, we might have to enlist the help of Fionntan d'Rue. Although still a child, she is already a skilled necromancer and is unable to tell anyone of our project. Because of this, she seems like she might be the perfect addition to our little team.

Vidish decided to have Patient 001 drink straight Daemon Blood. Unfortunately, Patient 001 merely began to twitch and stick his tongue out. He later fell over, still twitching. At that point, we had no more use for Patient 001 so he was disposed of.

Patient 002:

I obtained a Shard of the Gem of Immortality. I hope to use part of it for the potion.

Vidish, again, ground up a Gem of Salvation and mixed it with some Undying Flesh, making a paste.

I scraped the Shard of the Gem of Immortality with a sharp blade until I was able to make a fine powder from it.

Vidish decided to boil the paste, hoping it would mix together easier.

I chose a Strength Potion to use along with my powder. I am torn between using Dragon's Blood and Goblin's Blood. I am concerned that the Dragon's Blood may cause a similar problem in Patient 002 as the Daemon's Blood did in Patient 001.

After much consideration, I have decided to use the Goblin's Blood. Perhaps it will not be quite as jarring to Patient 002's system.

Vidish says that adding the boiling water to the paste was a failure. Just as before, he has decided to use the Gem of Salvation dust with the Undying Flesh. He then gave it to me to put on Patient 002. I applied it directly to his left arm, using a brush. Patient 002 reported that the paste began to make him tingle and itch.

Patient 002 ingested the potion a few minutes after the paste was applied.

First, Patient 002's skin turned gray almost immediately and then he turned into a Goblin.

Patient 002, surprisingly, did not seem alarmed by this.

The final results of this patient are undetermined.

While reading a note regarding Grash-Nak's status with OES Vidish heard chains clinking downstairs. It made him nervous for a moment until he saw Felyn bringing another test subject up to work on their project.

Patient 003:

Just like before, Vidish ground up a Gem of Salvation into a fine dust and mixed it with some Undying Flesh. He decided to add some Ginseng because of the healing properties.

I mixed some of the powder from the Shard of the Gem of Immortality with a Strength Potion.

After much consideration, I have decided to use my blood, which is part Drow and part Elf.

After drinking the potion, Patient 003 almost immediately began complaining about how bright it was.

Observed Patient 003 for quite some time.

Patient 003's skin gradually became smoother. Vidish and I are unsure as to whether or not the change was because of the potion or the paste.

We will be keeping Patient 003 for observation until we can conclude whether or not the experiment was a success.
