Inside the case is a scroll written on delicate parchment in blood red ink.
Little Mouse,
After reviewing ancient documents of the city of Caina, and speaking to several other ancient beings of the city, it would appear I was not the only one who never saw you in Caina or part of the Order in Caina.
I know rewriting history to fit the details of what actually happened may be a skill you picked up along the way from others of your ilk, but those of us actually from Caina made it a point to keep records on everything.
I can find records of being a member of the Zog Cabal in those days, and I have conflicting reports that you may have owned property on Dagger Isle. I think you would be surprised on what we keep records on. Then again, I'd be surprised if you can read this to yourself.
Regardless, living on Dagger Isle does not make you suddenly part of the Jewel of the North. If you're going to lie to puff yourself up, please do so about things you can either cover your tracks on, or on a subject nobody cares enough about to listen to you on.
Oblivion's Blessings be on you.

Wilow had been packing the carriage for its journey to come when she heard the arrival of the Orthon. As she studied it she felt certain it was one of Ciara's new inventions. She picked up the case from the ground and took out the letter. Upon completion of it Willow began to laugh.
I think his informants are on our side.
Perhaps humor wasn't the best way to deal with the situation at hand, but it comforted her with her task ahead. She took a quick break to pen a short response.
Herald,
I am unsure if I should insist that you look elsewhere for your information or if I should encourage you to continue to utilize your current resources as they are more of a boon to me with the half truths and falsities they are supplying you.
I never said I was there under the rule of any lich nor did I claim to be "suddenly part of the jewel of the north". Those words never fell from my mouth. My residency came about long after Oblivion abandoned you and yours, the land turned to ruin but surely you knew that. It was a former home to me, nothing more just the same with Umbra. I wouldn't bother puffing myself up to such a ludicrous thing as being under a lich's rule as I will never see that as a boon. I was a child then, living with a guardian of sorts I later learned to be a parent. For it to be said that I was a member of this Zog Cabal is almost laughable. I can not be apart of something that doesn't exist. I would question the validity of the "records" you possess. Not all residence of Caina revolved around your power of Nothing nor did they have to belong to a cult. I am unsure as to why you feel I need to fit into one of these categories.
You would have an even harder time finding records of me as I had a different name then. My surname wasn't always Smythe, but I am sure your ancients already informed you of this. If not, you may want to consider better ancients Herald, none of this was private record and could easily be found so I am unsure if you meant to attempt to scare me with your "all power full knowledge base" or to inform me that you yourself can read. I can tell you right now, I never owned land in Caina again it was my former home and nothing more.
I am almost sorry that these truths of mine seem to inconvenience you in some way for you to go so far to debunk me even though nothing is at stake. But far be it for me to stop this "research" of yours.
Keep your blessings for those that are grateful for them,
Little Mouse.
Willow thought about signing her own name to the bottom of this but then decided the Herald likely wouldn't believe she was signing her true name.
With a smirk she placed her response in the case and handed it to the Orthon.
Willow crumbled the letter and tossed it to the ground.
As if I would have the time to share this and start the commotion you want of my people. She thought to herself as she continued on with her packing. _________________ Malorn ‎(12:14 AM):
