Not really sure where to begin. I am really enjoying my time back in UO and have had some great roleplaying experiences so far. So, thank you all for that. Anyhow, for those that dont know, Rufus is the scholarly type, and loves a good conversation with someone like him...or abyone for that matter. The conversation can stretch from things about different magics, races, politics...I could go on and on.

Anyhow, I kinda wanted to play on that and people like that. They dont HAVE to be mages or scholars or anything like that, just people that get together and talk about the state of things or whatever they are interested in.

I really want it to develop into/be a Masonic style Secret society thing and I hope that there are a few people open to it.

It wont involve starting a guild, or Joining my guild though im probably going to stick with the name of the guild Rufus is in, "The Erudite Brotherhood" I've already got one or two other people interested, and would love to move forward. We could have meetings (nothing to serious or drawn out, so it does not feel like your in a second guild or anything), secretly make moves that affect our peers and what not, it could go as deep as we'd take it. Does not have to be all "Good" characters, or "Bad" characters...possibly alot of characters with Ulterior motives, but meh, whatever.

I am just trying to get together some people that generally might not have a reason to get together and lead up to some decent plots or more importantly, roleplay.

I havent really sketched it out and right now its just a bunch of ideas floating around in my head, but if your interested...please let me know. If you have any input or questions, I'd be more than happy to get with you.

This sounds like an interesting idea.. I think Tyranthraxus may fit the bill for this. I'll hit you up on ICQ sometime this weekend or this week if you want to bounce ideas around.

I kinda saw the not being a "Brother" thing coming...I knew someone was going to bring that up. Lol. You dont necessarily have to be a "Brother" and if you think it should be changed, we can come up with something else...it's all up in the air right now.

I have a chr named Amon Seth that might be good for this. In this stage in his development, he would be more interested in just listening and gathering different opinions and data, but I'm definitely interested.
