If you happen to own a bottle of the old SCT One Year Anniversary Reserve, please check the name on it. After the tweaks to the Bane/Ophid event went live today, the bottle I have in my possession is now named "A Bottle". To check and make sure that it was not just this bottle, I visited the MTC Headquarters, where GreyPawn has his bottle on display:

Just a heads up. I'm going to try to gain attention of a Dev on Stratics, but I do not know what else to do here.

Update.

There seems to be something affecting old bottles of liquor. I also have some pink champagne that just says "A Bottle". However, newer items.. all of the EM liquor stuff (Spiced Wintermoor Wine, Nestor's Ale, etc.) in the Treasure Trove are fine.

Another update: the Treasure Trove has stated that the United Blacksmiths of Britannia wine has also been affected.

I hope they fix it, though it isn't the first time this type of error has happened. I have a UBB bottle somewhere, too, and Delucian Valley Wine.

Hopefully it is just an issue of which name field is being displayed, and they didn't actually prune the old name field that the ancient bottles of wine are using. I'm going out on a limb guessing at how it works, but it seems logical to me.

Disappointment in the fact that it happened? Eh. I doubt they have a test server with bottles of pre-patch seer items sitting around to see what happens to them. It doesn't make sense, too obscure.

Be disappointed if they don't correct their mistake, or if they don't correct their mistake in a timely manner.

Oh good lord, are they going to fix this? I have sixty or so bottles of pink champagne. Not to mention two bottles of UBB wine. And as GM of the UBB, it really hurts.
