A courier delivers the following letter to the Duchess:

"Greetings your Grace,

Dearest cousin, rejoice with me! I have been released from prison at last! The doors of my cell were opened to me this morning and I have been able to return home to my villa in Yew.

I have no idea how this came about. All I was told is that word came from the Regent of Yew, by word or letter I know not, that I was to be released immediately. I signed a waiver as I want no more dealings, legal or otherwise, with these people.

I would love to call upon thee and visit. I know affairs of state kept thee busy and you did all you could to free me. I want to thank thee personally for thy efforts.

Please send word when you might be able to receive me, if that is something you wish.
