"I ain't wanna go Arcy!" Arlin whined, futily, as the small woman attempted to physically shove him up the gangplank of the ship. Arcana huffed, noting how childish the former mercenary and hired killer could be when he wanted to.

"I don't care if you want it or not, you NEED it" Arcana replied. Arlin finally surrendered and boarded the ship, his shoulders sagging. He failed to notice as Arcana nearly lost her balance as the immovable object (Arlin) she had been attempting to push, decided to become mobile.

"Arlin, you need a vacation. Period. You've been running yourself ragged, and its been hurting your...performence." Arcana lied. But he really did need a vacation, for his benefit. She would have accomponied him if possible, but she still had far too much work with the Vesper Council.

"I goin', I goin'" Arlin meekly protested. He saw through her lie; she wasn't very good at it. But he could use the rest. He'd sorely miss his lady knight, but he wasn't too worried about her. She could take care of herself, and besides all that, he trusted her.

"Goodbye Arlin, I love you. Try and have some fun!" Arcana bid him farewell as the sailors began packing up the ship to leave. The massive sails unfurled as the gangplank was slowly brought on board.

"I love's ya too Arcy!" Arlin bellowed, waving with a child-like grin on his face. Arcana couldn't help but chuckle as several sailors, clearly aware of the half-ogres former notoriety, blinked in confusion at his sudden change of heart. They shrugged, rather than argue with a half-ogre about who he should be.

Arlin plopped down on the bed and looked out towards the sea. He hoped they had good ale where he was going....wherever that was.
