"You are looking well, Huma." Those words echoed into his mind as he stood there talking. His words echoing equally well off the walls of the near empty meeting hall, though he didn't notice. He had been hiding it well, but for how much longer could he? People will take notice sooner or later...then they'll either shower him with their sympathy, or laugh at his plight.

He felt himself getting weaker as the conversation continued, until it reached the questions about his family. "I was a failure as a father and as a leader.", he spat at Savhanna. Storming out the door and recalling to his forge. None too soon, as the coughing fit hit him at the doorway. Sapping away his strength, he fell to his knees. The lack of air being drawn into his lungs, left his vision blurred and his head swam. Grasping onto the door handle, he pulled it shut behind him, as his vision went black, and his body crashed to the floor.
