The minute she saw him walk through the door her spirits lifted and all her worries seemed to fade. He looked exhausted, but insisted on stopping by her house before he even went to his own, hoping to catch her home and not on duty. That was Wolf, as long as they were not on duty, he wished for them to be together. He always seemed to be full of surprises as well. He spoiled her too much, as much as he knew she didn't want him to. After he returned from his journey, they had been sitting in the library at her home catching up on everything that had transpired while he was away. Beccah had excitedly told him of the battles and training she had done. She proudly told him how much she had been improving in her combat skills. How helpful everyone had been to her, she even told him about Dan's attempt to cheer her up the night before. "He danced! In front of everyone, just to make me smile," she said to Wolf. He chuckled then, but he did not seem to have too much to say, he just seemed happy to just watch her.

After what seemed like hours had passed, Wolf's mood seemed to change slightly, he seemed to be a bit anxious about something. He took her hand into his and held it for awhile, smiling at her.
"Beccah..... I want to thank you for being there for me," he said.
"The time I was away, I realized that I never want to be apart from you. I want us to be together always." He got up from his chair, still looking at her. She looked to him a bit confused when he knelt down in front of her. She looked into his eyes and said, "Sweetie, we are together and I love you with all my heart! Now get up!" she giggled. But he would not move, he seemed to be searching for what to say next. "Beccah, will you marry me?" he said. It wasn't until he placed the ring on her finger that she realised he was still talking to her. Throwing her arms around his neck she grinned and said, "Of course I will!" Leaning back and wiping a tear from her eye she told him how much she loved him and how happy he always seemed to make her. They excitedly made a few plans, deciding to hold off on setting a date right away because there seemed to be some things Wolf needed to take care of in the coming weeks, though he wouldn't exactly say what they were. They talked of places they could have the wedding, who they wanted to attend, Beccah even thought of who she wanted to give her away. Sitting in the library making plans, Beccah noticed that Wolf seemed to be struggling to stay awake. She practically dragged him to the bedroom and convinced him to get some sleep. He argued with her half-heartedly then fell onto the bed and was almost instantly asleep. She watched him for a bit, studying his features, smiling down at him while she sat on the edge of the bed. She thought to herself as she lay down next to him, "Mrs. Wolf Triptick...Beccah Triptick" smiling, she closed her eyes and cuddled up to him and fell fast asleep.
