As Reminisence walked through her silent tower she sighed. "It has been so empty here" she thought to herself as she looked into each of the empty rooms. As she reached the end of the hallway she opened the door to her library and began sorting the texts she had left there earlier. After putting them away on thier appropriate shelves she turned around. There was one book left on the desk. She looked at it, realizing it did not belong in this room she picked it up. Carrying the book with her she left the library, knowing there was no one else around she opened the secret door and stepped onto the teleporter that carried her to a secret floor in her house.

She placed the book onto a cluttered table and sighed again. She gazed around and noticed a parchment out of place on one of the shelves. She picked it up and unrolled it. "hmm, this could be quite useful". Gathering ingredients off the shelves, she rushes off to Skara Brae. Thinking to herself "Hopefully they are still there."

She arrived and spoke with Joyce, a long time friend of hers for a short time, telling her that she wondered what had happened to her old pets kittens. She smiled when Joyce told her they were all grown up, and had offspring of thier own. Joyce told her where most of them were at, and motioned for her to follow. Reminisence nodded slightly and followed Joyce to the back of the house. There were 2 small cats there, not extremely young but not too old either. She smiled, "Could I have one? I have once again found myself in need of a companion. " Joyce nodded slowly and said "Of course". Reminisence tapped her staff on the ground and her horse vanished from beneath her. She looked at the two cats, picking up the grey one. You'll be perfect. The cat purred as Remi stroked its back gently. Setting the cat carefully into a bag for traveling, she thanked Joyce and with a tap of her staff her horse returned. "Farewell and be safe" were the last words exchanged before she recalled away.

"Hmm, I will need something more. She placed the cat on the table. She ran her fingers over the pages of her spellbook slowly before opening it, looking down at the page she smiled slightly. She closed her eyes and spoke the words slowly as she tapped her staff on the floor demandingly. A demon appeared before them, the cat hissed after examining it breifly. Reminisence looked the demon over, and nodded to herself..."You'll do fine" Speaking the demons true name as she cut into its hand, filling a vial and pouring the contents of it around the cat. She proceeded to cut her own hand, clasping it to the demons and speaking the words..."Nirathius arniman" the deamon dissapated, she placed her hand onto the cats head, as she lifted her up and removed her from the circle of blood.

The cat struggled and hissed as Remi removed her hand from its head, carrying it down the stairs into the kitchen. She set some fish on the table and placed the cat onto the table with the fish. "I should give you a name, one that I can use in the presence of others." The cat meowed and began to eat the fish, Remi thought a moment. "Eponia, that is what I shall call you." The cat meowed as if to acknowledge, and returned to eating. Reminisence pet her gently and thought to herself, "at least now I don't have to be so alone."
