|
Beowulf returned home that evening, blood stained his clothes, and sweat covered his face. The criminals in fellucia where gathering by the numbers, and they became harder to defeat. He knew though, with enough determination, he'd push back the murders, keeping them from citizens, and innocent people.
Beowulf walked somberly up his steps and into his home. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed a red box with a bow on it. Must be from Ceinwyn... He thought to himself.
He opened the box to see a note, a dress and a few other items left in it. He read the letter over carefully and muttered as he finished.
"She left to join...The Zog Cabral?" He nodded slightly. Shaking his head slightly he made his way to his study, whatever Ceinwyns path was, it couldnt interfer in his.
Beowulf sat down at his desk, pulled out a piece of parchment and carefully wrote a note.
Vaen Swiftar,
Before you burn this letter on the candle nearest to you, I ask that you read this with care.
It is important that I meet with you, to discuss certain details in our lives, and concerning Britannia. I know we are not on the greatest of terms, but I'd like to discuss that also. If you would, I'd like to meet on your Island, at the Stronghold. You can name the time...if you agree to the meet.
Sincerely,
Beowulf Thormear.
He rolled the parchment up and tied it with a yellow ribbon. He tied the parchment to Kona'zak's leg.
"Take this to Vaen, where ever he may be." He told the hawk. |
