Greetings,

I am Itannar Darkanor, an official, Master of the Temple, of the group known as the Saints of the True Covenant. I am a paladin who worships and serves the Lady Quaestra Concordia, who requires that all her devotees be honest and forthright in all dealings. I am bound by oath to her, therefore, not to lie or deal falsely.

Yet I know that there are those who have no conscience and feel no remorse for the evil they do and the lies they spread. And I have seen much of this lately. In fact, too much. I see strife resulting from it, and I am compelled to speak and act.

I am sending with this letter a signed affidavit from another Saint named Saint Max. He was unlawfully slain (that being, he did nothing worthy of death) by Lord Thrax many years ago at Pegasus Bay. We could not find his shade/spirit. What we did not know was that Lord Thrax had managed to seize it and, after resurrecting him much later, kept him locked deep within his impregnable dungeon for nearly eight years. Only recently was he able to effect an aided escape.

I have sent a copy of this to Duke Kotare II, who has been the subject of much criticism and misguided accusations from among even his friends. I support the Duke in his efforts to apprehend this criminal, thus neutralizing the growing threat and evil Thrax poses for Yew. It is my fervent hope that this will help prove that his aims are far from noble in his campaign to restructure the government of Yew; that Duke Kotare's charges against him are valid, and to rally support against Thrax who stands against all that is good.

I, Saint Max, under oath and penalty of perjury, do hereby testify that I have been unlawfully detained, tortured, and abused physically and mentally for eight years by the man/demon known as Lord Thrax. I was, at one time, Lord Preceptor of the Saints of the True Covenant.

I declare also that Lord Thrax has ever served his own diabolical ends and has been an enemy of the Saints of the True Covenant and the Virtues since our arrival in Sosaria. He serves a god who revels in mayhem, strife, and destruction. He told me himself, while I was his prisoner, that he is the demonic avatar of his god. Believing me to be his prisoner forever, he had no reason to lie to me.

I affirm that all I have written in this document is true and accurate.

Otto lets go of the robe. As it falls Tai notices greasy hand and mouth prints in the cloth. With a smirk on his face and rolling eyes he asks "Now, What were you going to say?" Otto looks at the back of the blind mans robe "Opps, hehe" and gives a little grin.

"I believe the time has come to meet with Lord Kotare and Lord Itannar and set up an arrangement should this Mr. Thrax venture into our lands." Otto said to Tai. "I have heard rumor of a miscommunication over this very subject at the Royal Court of Light.......It did not go well and I would hate to see diplomatic relations strained here". Tai Leaned back nodding in thought "Perhaps you're right" he said "What happened at the Royal Court?" Otto put his arm around Tai, "Come, I will tell you over lunch" Shocked Tai responded " Lunch!......You just finished breakfast!." Otto replied with a big smile on his face, " I woke up late."

William gets back from training in the pit with his men and saw a letter by the Saints. William reads the letter and begins to reply.

Dear Itannar

I have heard of the Saints of the true Covenant. I heard that you worship Concordia as if she was a goddess, I always found it odd that you think she is the Lord because she is an angel to the Lord. I'm glad that you are honest and Concordia may be the gateway to you all to touch the God of Light.

I feel the same as you do about the light treating the dark as if they were light themselves. That's the problem with the light now, they tend to treat everyone the same and thats not what Concordia wants or the Lord. I am glad that some one from the light spoke on this and acted besides me.

I read the letter from Saint Max and it doesnt suprise me. Lord Thrax wishes the orcs to take Yew so he can have control of it nothing more. Thrax is an evil man sent from the Lord of Dark to plague the Earth.

One thing though, Duke Kotare II deserves what he gets and its only the act from the Lord of Light since Kotare has abandoned him. I will not support the Duke neither will the Lord of Light, but Dark will not hold Yew. I know what Thrax wants and thats Yew for himself, but Kotare is a power hungry beast bulling other followers of the Light. I will not support Kotare neither will the Lord of Light and his followers, I will not support Thrax either for he will get his judgement.
