Kay Velve'Niar stood, at the door to the dungeon Doom. He contemplated many things. Among these many things, he decided he needed to find shelter for the night. This land of darkness was better on his eyes than Luna.

He picked up his crossbow and headed towards the edge of the corrupted forest that had been his home, so many years ago. Dungeon Doom had been many things, but hospitable was not one of them. He had made his good-byes to the animals he had so long tended. He had returned to the ways of his people, the Drow, by re-learning the use of the bow.

He would never forget the way of the underground world, however. He was glad to be free of Lloth's reach.
