After what seemed like weeks, Nico finally managed to get back to the Lodge. He hadn’t seen Maggy for some time and was anxious to see her again. When he arrived at the Lodge the main room was empty but there were sounds of people moving about upstairs. He settled into a chair at a corner table to wait.
It wasn’t long before he heard a teleporter activate and watched as the front door opened. There was Maggy, as much a pleasure to look upon as he remembered. When she saw him sitting alone in the corner she walked to the table to greet him. Nico stood with a smile and a gleam in his eye happy that she was not upset at his absence.
They sat in the main room for some time before heading up stairs to the garden to watch the beautiful night settle on the land. All seemed perfect, right down to the bird that graced them with its song. While the conversation progressed Nico found himself inching ever closer to Maggy and had at some point taken her hand in his. If felt so right he didn’t even notice doing it.
They sat together talking and looking into each others eyes until Nico wanted to scream. Instead he leaned in and kissed Maggy softly on the lips. “there, I’ve finally done it” he thought, having wanted to do that all night and for some time before that. Nico half expected a bit of shock from Maggy, but was instead shocked himself when she returned the kiss. They spent some time talking and laughing and enjoying each other’s company. Nico had some business to attend to at the Freehold and asked Maggy to join him when he left. She agreed and they were off. Upon arriving at the Freehold Nico and Maggy were greeted by several people they knew but none seemed to keen on staying (looked like business would have to wait). Most of them were heading to the NuJelm gardens so Nico and Maggy decided to join them. Nico had been to the palace before but Maggy had not and the look of wonder in her eyes made Nico smile thinking of all the new things he will bring her to see.
The group stayed at the gardens for a short amount of time before members started to wonder off. Nico and Maggy decided to stay and enjoy the time alone. They spent some time in the garden walking around holding hands and talking.
They decided to explore the palace and wandered about looking into all the different rooms then decided to head back to the lodge. There they sat together till the early hours of the morning talking about the future and what it held for them both. Being over tired but still feeling like he could take on the world and win Nico had to leave. The night was a blur of joy and pleasure but it was a night he couldn’t wait to repeat. Nico when home that morning and spent some time lying in bed thinking about the night and what to do next. There was still so much that had to be done for the guild but he had no intention of neglecting Maggy again.
As Nico drifted off to sleep, the last thing he remembered was Maggys smiling face and he smiled himself then lost himself to his dreams.

Their first kiss. She could never forget how it made her weak in the knees. Her head swam just thinking of it and she closed her eyes remembering his gentle ways...how her hand felt in his...his eyes...so soft a gaze. She didn't want their moments together to end and looked so forward to seeing him again.

She was smitten and knew it. She had never felt like this for anyone before. Puppy love perhaps but never like this. She wanted to spend every waking hour with him. She wrote in her journal that night of their evening together and her dreams were filled with thoughts of him. She spent the next day humming doing her chores around the lodge. She would go back to her journal and read it just to smile at the words. She had never felt so wonderful. All she could think about was the past night and the time they spent together. She could not wait until evening when there was a chance of seeing him again. She wondered if he felt the same for her.
