Penny had spent a few hours here and there in the libraries of Umbra. She found books upon various things but none that she felt could help her. Then some books about the Lord Zalar Soulblight, written by his servant, Thiran. She had hoped that something would mention about how she could help James. After a couple of evenings of this, she started to lose hope. She closed the last book and headed to Sanctus for the drill and the electoral debates. After Gabriel finished talking, a man approached her. He stated he traveled far and then handed her a box. Upon opening it, which she did carefully, she found a book. She read it and her heart went to her throat. She could feel hope start to fill every vessel within her body, as she tried to fight it. She feared she would get her hopes up to high. She then quickly went to Baron, whom was talking with the Sheriff. She did not interupt for fear it was something of dire importance. Once she saw they were finished, she approached Baron.



"M'lord, I have something you should see."



With that said, she handed the book over to him. She watched him as he read it. He looked to her and smiled.



"A M'real?"



Penny shook her head.



"Not just any M'real but James."



"Let us mount up soonest. First we must stop outside."



Lady Tatinana and a few other awaited for Baron to present him with some items, gifts for a horrid thief had snuck into his home taking items. Once that was done, he informed the rest of what was believed a way to bring back James. He left Aerie in command and soon they headed off to Skara. There they met the man, they were seeking, Clayton. He gave them a little errand to run before he would speak more on it. He then went on first telling Penny things she already knew, about the proficey of James and Zalar. He then went on telling him that Zalar's servant was also seeking the information. He had already sent Thorian to the library in Moonglow. The quest that Penny and the others of Sanctus was to gather a whispering Rose from a paladin. This paladin was known to be around the deserted town of Rivendell. Once there, the group searched everywhere for this man, all except Aerie and Spawn. It seemed that seeing the city he had served before in such ruins left some pain in his heart. So Aerie went to seek him out to help comfort him. After a few hours passed, no sign of the man, but there was a whispering rose found near a building by one of the men. Penny's heart lept for joy for surely this had to be the rose they were looking for, or so she had hoped. The rose was given to her and the hour started to grow later.



"Perhaps we shall continue this later, for the hour grows late."



The rest of them agreed, most tired from the dril they had earlier that evening. Penny then chanted those magical words opening a gate to Sanctus. A few went through the gate, while others went on their own way. Penny went to James house and slowly made her way to the roof top. She laid down in the grass gazing up at the stars holding the rose in her hand.



"Soon love you will be freed."



She said to the shinest star. Though deep down in her heart, she had hoped it would not be too late.
