Lord Thrax,

I am glad to see you have settled down in the beautiful lands of Ambrosia. It may come lifting to you that the wishes you wish have been granted when it come to the issue of Rryn Anyai and her unfortunate incident with unsaid persons and or substances. Feel free to send word for a meet or more information if you desire. Oh and, my apologies, i havent introduced myself.

Thrax gazed out from the second story balcony at Pier 39 at the thatch-roofed buildings that dotted the countryside in Papua. He wondered what it was about the place that had drawn him to it... and shortly after realized it had to be the swamps and heat.

A servant entered the room, bowed, and placed a letter on his desk. Thrax walked back inside his office and looked at the man. "Who is that from?" he asked.

"I know not, sire. A strange creature... a wisp, I think, brought it just now." The man waited patiently for his tip.

"A wisp? Interesting," Thrax replied, tossing the main a gold coin, who immediately bowed again and left. He went to his desk, picked up the letter, opened and read it.

"Lord Cear Dallben... ZOG Cabal. I have heard of them," he said to himself. He sat down, took a pen and parchment and began to write:

"Lord Cear,

I am pleased to make your acquaintance. I am familiar with the Cabal's history and know you are just the man for the job. This has been an unfortunate episode for everyone; a clear attempt to harm the Empress, to disrupt my attempts to secure a treaty, and to discredit me and my government. As of today, I have the following information I can give you:

There are witnesses to strangers roaming about Papua.
The perpetrator(s) are suspected to be drow by race (which should come as a surprise to no one!)
So far it appears to be the work of one or two persons acting independently. There is no evidence that any other group is involved. As much as I would like to suspect Sanctus or Yew, poisoning is simply not their style.

My agents are working tirelessly to find more evidence and clues. In the meantime, I would be glad to talk with you so that you may do what you can to help us apprehend whoever contrived this. My personal messenger, Harbinger, a rather large raven, will arrive with this note. He has a knack for finding those I seek. We will meet soon. I look forward to it.

He sealed the note and left for home with it to get it to Harbinger.

Heading back from the Regency meeting she notices the posted notice. She raises a brow. She takes out her journal and her quill and ink carefully writing down the details. She closes the book and heads home where she sits at her desk. She takes the journal out and reads over the posting. She takes out a parchment and writes a letter to Royal Family in Zento.

Honorable Tai-san,

If there is anything that I can do to aid in your wife's condition please let me know. I am sending a vile of elven-fae cure to help ease her discomfort and hopefully help her until a cure is found. I also heard this eve that Duke Kotare has also been poisoned, It seems to be the trend of late. I myself and also Lord Billy have been poisoned recently. I do hope they are not related incidents. Both Lord Billy and myself have recovered fully. I hope your wife and the Duke also make a full recovery. I have also sent Duchess Lylith a vial of the same cure. I do hope it helps.

Please put your mind to ease when it comes to this morbid subject. I assure you that the hand of the Cabal is delt you a wonderful hand. I think it best we meet in person. If you can, meet me in the Vesper Tanner in felucca at say, eleven o'clock east? If you desire a better time just send note my way. i only have one task i wish to complete before we meet and that should be no problem. Remember, the Zog Cabal is taking care of your worries.
