Flickering light emitted out from the hearth fire as the dark figure sat at the desk in the library flipping through one book after another, its been weeks now the dark paladin has been in solitude and out of society.

Gripping a tattered tome with a leather gloved hand he places it carefully upon the desk before him as he begins reading the first few pages, a half grin... half sneer crosses the sigiled face as he comes to a single passage..."Answers lie within The city of the Dead".

Leaving the book upon the table, he replaces the metal studded mask over his glowing scared face and comes to a stand. Swiftly he makes his way out of the manor, looking just over his shoulder he gives a whisper through hushed tones to the spirits of the manor "take care of her, its better this way" just before he conjures the words of sacred journey to the lost lands of Papua and from there, The City of the Dead.
