Heads of the Phoenix were talking about how they can make themselves a power in Sosaria. Many brought ideas like invading occupied cities, but one came out that caught William's attention. Soloeus said that Phoenix should have a capital. William stated that "we already have Jhelom, what's the point in another city." Soloeus said " true but we need a city thats not LK, DSC,ECHO, or FREE but all of us as one governing together". William liked this idea and wondered what city they had in mind. Soloeus wanted Haven for it's population,and Sparda wanted Skara for the oppurtunity and structure. Days went by and William wondered what he will decide, some didn't by into this new city. At this time there was some uneasy in the Alliance with people not trusting each other, so William had alot to think about what he will do. Many people in Jhelom and all over Sosaria heard about him wanting Haven as a possibility and was uneasy about it, since it was a neutral city. A week later William called for a vote in the Phoenix and all had decided Skara after a long arguement. Once that was decided William and Soloeus thought of a government in a republic form, this form is one of the first in Brittannia. William and Sparda went to break the nws to Skara and make a deal with the mayor but did not turn out so well. The mayor refused and asked them to leave, then right when they left rangers came out and told them not to comeback. William and Sparda left, after that William sent Sparda to take the city. Sparda raised an army of Fire Elementals and Daemons and killed all the rangers guarding the city. The mayor came and said that this city is yours. William got news of Skara and kept the mayor and is now preparing the council for Phoenix's new capital.

Molly had gone to the bank and heard some scuffling then an arrow wizzed past her head. She went to investagate. Standing behind the trees she saw the symbol of the phoenix on the shield of a man standing on the far side of the banks of the river. She saw some rangers laying dead near the water. The man embarked on the small boat to cross the river along with several others wearing the same uniform. This confused her.

As she stood there behind the tree a mealymouthed politition fearing for his own life came running out begging the man in charge to stop, that he could hold the city. Frowning deeply Molly cast a recall and left the area.

She imediately went to her desk upon arriving home. She composed a letter to Lord William.

Dear William,

We have been friends for years and I was appalled to see your actions today in Skara. You know well that this town is the port of call for all of Sosaria and is considered a nutral terratory. Why would you send in your troops to occupy it? You place me in a precarious position my friend. I must appose your move in this town. Should you not remove your troops, as guardian of the free people of Skara Brae, (my duty for many years now, given me by Duke Fred himself) I will have to move against your troups there. I do not want to have to rally the troops of the light against another light organization but I will if I must. If you would wish to meet with me to discuss this prior to any action taken, you can reach me via my pigeon.

The samurai looked up as the huge black bird descended upon him. He drew his katana and assumed a defensive stance. Instead of landing, the bird, which he now determined was a freakishly large raven, dropped a short but thick piece of bamboo at his feet. Recognizing it immediately as a message cylinder, he picked it up and quickly took it to his superior. Eventually it found its way into the hands of Emperor Tai Kwan Leap.

"My Emperor, live forever!

One of my servants has just returned from a brief visit to Skara Brae. He has reported to me that the town is no longer a neutral city, but has been attacked and forced into submission by the servants of William of Jhelom. There is evidence of it everywhere. Bodies of rangers lay unburied all around and he spoke to the mayor who explained what had transpired.

I do not know if this concerns us or not, but I did want you to know of it so I sent my personal courier, Harbinger, with this message. I consider it my duty to report such drastic events and sudden political changes within the realm as it may soon effect us all. For as you know sire, when a lion tastes blood, it will hardly settle for half a meal.

Shade chuckled as she looked at the dead body of the ranger laying on the side of the road near Skara.

Whats this? Oooh something is afoot, I smell chaos and fear.

Perfect day to visit my favorite bank. As she traveled further she saw more dead bodies and a sheild laying on the ground with a Pheonix emblazoned on it. She would have to ask Cear exactly who held this symbol, and quickly penned a note to him and sent it off with her bird, Mimus.

She began to whistle and was having trouble keeping a straight face. She pulled her shroud tightly about her as she ventured on passing the terrified citizens of Skara.

This was lovely, lovely, someone has become ambitious, I wonder who? I should thank them for the chaos they have caused.

Pulling a doll out of her pack she sat it on the ground at the bank and began walking slowly off catching the sight of a small child darting in grabbing it and showing it excitedly to her parent.

Perfect, everyone could use just a bit more confusion.

Standing in Blackrock, Xandria looked around slowly, making sure that all the dolls were in their proper boxes. Green, yes, poison. Good. Purple, yes, daemon. Hmm, red... Looking up she smiled, seeing Mimic land on the window, cawing. Well, a letter from Shade? Opening it, she saw the message was to Cear, and began reading it. Hmm, a phoenix symbol, in Skara? How utterly amusing. Giggling to herself, she began to write.

Dear Nightshade,

Sorry, I was at Blackrock when the letter came, so I read it. I have an idea. Now, apparently someone is taking over Skara, but do we really care who? I sure don't. However, I have a plan. I am sending Mimic with a few dolls with daemons in them. Let us test the theory, to see if an island will get enough water to free the daemons. After all, we can hardly be blamed for them, if they are their already. Who would really notice a daemon or ten more? Just make sure you bring the boxes back. I really don't want to waste a good pre-wrapped box.

Looking at the paper, she attached it to Mimics leg, along with ten boxes wrapped in purple, and sent him off. Quickly, she wrote a brief message to Cear, asking about the Phoenix, and who would be behind the takeover of Skara. Setting it on top of his alchemy set for him to see when he returned.

Spawn sat in his office going through random paperwork on his desk. It seemed like a normal day with some activity within the city of Sanctus with many preparing for the dinner at the castle. Suddenly, there was a brief knock on his office door.

"Enter..." Spawn responded as he leaned back in his chair watching the door. With an open of the door, one of the citizens of Sanctus entered his office and nodded to the Chancellor. What can I help you with citizen? he asked.

"Chancellor, I went to Skara Brae to get some supplies and I noticed something strange" replied the citizen looking somewhat confused. Spawn stood up from his desk and began to walk towards the citizen.

"What do you mean strange? What did you see?" asked the Chancellor raising his brow a bit. The citizen lowered his head then looked back up.

"Well sir it seems some army has taken over the city" said the citizen. Spawn walked towards the window and gazed out to the city. Skara was to be a neutral city as declared by Molly long ago but now it seems someone has proved otherwise.

"Tell me whose army is occupying Skara?" asked Spawn sighing leaning against the wall still gazing out the window. He did not wish to know who it was but he needed to know for this army may pose a threat to Sanctus.

"Well I do not know sir but they had crests bearing birds, A phoenix to be exact" replied the citizen. Spawn turned around quickly facing the citizen with a serious look on his face. He slowly sat down at his desk and rested his arm in front of him.

"Thank you citizen if you excuse me I have paperwork to do" said Spawn. The citizen nodded slowly and left his office closing the door behind him. The Chancellor folded his hands over his mouth and went into a deep thought. Molly would not take this news lightly and may resort to military action. And if that were to happen, Sanctus may be asked to assist. Spawn did not want to have Sanctus involved in another war. He looked out onto the city with great worry on his face. Now he had to bear the news to Talon Skyfire that war may hit Sanctus.
