Standing in a field a unicorn charges her down, its silvery horn sharply pointed at her heart. Pulling forth her crescent blade she stands at the ready and mumbles softly in the air. A cloud of black magic flies thru the air surrounding herself and the unicorn.
Swish..... the blade cuts cleanly thru its neck. Its horn impales her arm, but it is to late, the beast has been slain. Upon its death the warrior straightens her gloved hands clenching her bloody blade. " The blood oath has been broken."
Foul beast catching me unawares. Gets so a girl can not walk about freely these days. The flesh torn on her arm, and a strange white substance showing beneath she staggered away, arriving a few moments later near the Skara Brae bank. Her eyes alighted upon the parchment and she mumbled to herself as she read....
Oh good grief, whatever is wrong with necromancy. I dont have time for this I have dolls to deliver. Chuckling Shade walked stiffly away. _________________ Something is Wrong, I can still feel Existence... |

As a lone highpriestess stalked among the city of Moonglow, she held one of those posters in hand. Chuckling she said to herself, "so, the King of Sanctus wants a war; well good for him." She imagined all the bodies of the lightbringers and any other that decided to partake in this battle. For her, it was nothing short of convenient. She could just watch as the foolish humans and surface elves fight over power of moonglow. When both sides were at a weakend state, it will only make things easier for the remaining followers of Lolth. "I wonder what Valena thinks of all this?" Faith smiled. _________________ :bananhump: Put this in your signature if you think bananas need loving too... even if it is from behind. |

She awoke early and gently kissed the cheek of the man lying beside her. Then she eased out of the bed and took care of her morning ablutions, including a bath in the nearby stream.
She checked the larder and saw that provisions had dwindled very low during the month she and her lover had spent in the forest home just outside of Skara Brae. So she went to town to do some shopping.
Sonya always attracted stares when she walked down a street and she enjoyed the attention. She smiled and waved in her usual friendly way to those who watched her go by, so she was a little surprised when a group of men bunched in the road paid her no mind at all.
They argued over the rights and wrongs of a poster, it seemed. She stopped to listen and learned about King Talon's call to arms against, apparently, everybody else.
She bought a few necessities and hurried back to her little house and found her lover busily comtemplating the forested view while sipping on a hot cup of tea.
She told him about the poster and watched his reaction. A quiet, deliberate man, whatever he thought he kept to himself. She wanted him to explode and rail but he took it silently.
"Well, lover," she goaded him. "Will you now help Sanctus overthrow their enemies as you did when they were trod underfoot by their enemies before? "
He smiled at her, "You're a feisty one, darling."
She huffed, "I've spent a month with you and hardly know you at all!"
He pulled her roughly onto his lap and bussed her mouth with his bearded lips until she laughed. He chuckled in her ear, "I think you know every cranny of my body, milady."
"Aye, but not your mind, sweetheart."
"Know this then, I will not ride with Talon Skyfire as I rode with Baron Mordegan. I didn't like what he did to Sanctus and those who fought for its liberty. And I don't like how they treated you. That showed me how hypocritical they truly are."
Sonya hugged him. "I think you're a keeper!"
He laughed, sprang to his feet with her in his arms, kicked the door open, and strode inside for more fun. |
