Cassandra sat upon the balcony that looked over the kingdom that had become her home. Her hand softly moving in a circular motion upon her swollen belly. She heard someone approach and turned smiling seeing her handsome son.

"Sharic, how are you this eve?"

Sharic just gazed upon his mother shaking his head. She was looking more fraile and pale with each passing day of the pregnancy. No stress says the healers...no stress he mumbled to himself softly cursing his father for leaving. He knew Legerion left to help save her. But if she knew where he truly went, that would be too stressful on her. He put on a charming smile and moved to aide her to a chair.

"Mother, you know what the healers say. You need to be bedrest and not about running around."

Cassandra just laughed.

"Son, does it look as if I am running around? You are too young to become a worry wart."

But she did not decline the aide to the chair. She was feeling abit dizzy and out of breath. She sat down her gaze still remaining upon what has become the most beautiful scenery she's seen. Her children have grown up in the kingdom.

"So have you thought about a name?"

Sharics voice broke Cassandra's thought. She looks upon him and smiles softly touching his hand.

"That I have. If it is to be a boy, I would like to name him Sylver. After a very dear friend of mine, as I had named you. If a girl..."

She ponders for a moment.

"Skylar Marie. I think that is a pretty name."

She says looking to Sharic as to get his approval. He offered her a soft but yet sad smile as he nodded in agreeance.

"Sharic please do not let the news bother you. We are in a new world. I am sure this pregnancy and birth will be just fine."

She smiles leaning to kiss Sharics cheek.

"But mother, father said that in Sossaria they told you that you should not...that you can not and if you."

She shushed him before he could continue.

"You will see, everything will be fine. Your father should return within a weeks time. I do hope that things get worked out with the other kingdom."

Suddenly, she grabs Sharics hand tight as she let out a most painful sounding moan. Sweat beads appeared along her brow, as she started to breath heavier. Sharic, in a panic, called out for the healers. One healer that did not venture far from his queen's side, was there pretty much before Sharic could finish. He gazed upon Cassandra noticing that her water had broken. Cassandra was in a state of half consciousness.

"Quick get her to bed. I told her that she shouldn't be"

Before he could finish, Sharic barked out.

"It doesn't matter what you told her or anyone. The damage is done! Damnit father, why did you decide to go to Sossaria of all times!"

Sossaria, that name pounded in Cassandra's mind. Legerion had gone to Sossaria? Why would he leave her knowing their child would be born soon. Before she knew it, the comfort of the silken sheets surrounded her as she was laid upon the bed. Sharic went to get his sisters and his other brother. Before they could enter, the other healers were in the room, with one of them pushing the children out.

"You should not go in, not right now. The baby is having trouble. She is too early."

Sharic looks to the healer.

"She?"

The healer nodded.

"Yes its going to be a baby girl. Now, leave so we can tend to your mother and hopefully save her and your sister."

With that said, the healer turned and went back into the room. A couple screams were heard then a dead silence. Sharic paced the floor muttering. The silence was hitting him like a hammer.

"What is going on? Should we not be hearing a cry or something?!"

His sister tried to calm him.

"Father needs to know. He needs to, I shall go find him."

A hand reached his shoulder as a soft voice carried along to his ear.

"Brother, mother needs you here. I shall go hunt father. I know he and mother share a bond. But in her weaken state, and his I am unsure how strong that bond is at this time. Not sure if it will carry over to another realm or not."

With that, she turns and leaves. She called for her servant to help her prepare for the trip. She gazed upon the amulet that her mother had given her for her 16th birthday. She held the chain as a tear fall upon it. Kissing the amulet, she tucked it into her shirt.

"Hold on mother."

She whispered softly as she continued to prepare for her departure.

Shortly after meeting with Isk, Legerion decided to let his mind travel the winds of Sosaria. As he stood on the northern beach of Magincia, letting his toes play in the sand , a hand over his heart, the Elf couldn't help it but to think of his wife being in danger of passing away due to her pregnancy.

Yet his sole purpose on these lands was to find a solution, knowing that it could not be found in his homeland for Sorcafor had only recently welcomed its first human visitors.

His feet were already covered with sand that his mind was playing the words that had sealed his fate as well as the words of the healers stating that a fifth child would most certainly be the end of his tender half's life.

"Father.."

The sound of wings facing the wind was soon heard as a white falcon flew over his head to disapear moments later.

"The answer you seek is.."

Legerion raised his right hand and turned around to face his father's spirit.

".. that I must use the bond to help my beloved.."

The spirit raised his head and looked down upon his son.

".. yet you cannot do it on your own this time."

The elf took a hold of his robe over his heart as pain drew itself on his face yet his father stood there and watched, a smile drawing itself on his lips.

"You can only blame yourself for what is happening to you, Ened marth."

With what strenght left in his left arm, the elf pointed his staff at the spirit with anger in his eyes.

"You dishonor my name once more, Rusva lasse..."

With these words, the elf fell on his right knee and then on his back, his eyes turning from a dark blue to black.

"Skylar Marie.." whispered the elf before passing out as 3 white falcons landed around the body.

The spirit looked down upon his son once more as he was debating in his mind the choices that were before him. Should he end his son's pain against his will and let him pass to the invisible world or should he respect his choice and play the fortune of destiny. The spirit stepped forward and picked up the elf's staff with the intention of granting his son freedom. As he took his balance to hit the unconscious body, the three falcons turned into what he recognized to be the Royal guards of Sorcafor.

"Be gone! I have made my choice" barked the spirit.

The three beings of light quickly formed a triangle around the body and adopted defensive stances and then remained still. The spirit dropped the staff on the ground and disapeared as a white falcon appeared in the skys.
