Title: Entropic Residue I

Author: Izrem Verin'Vlos

Preliminary studies of the Entropic Residue have shown a highly reactive though fittingly unstable nature.

The residue appears to have formed from the bleed off of Entropic energies being fed to the hidden runes by the Entropic Field Generator.

Why the runes have reacted in this fashion with the stone of th void islands it unknown. Perhaps an incomplete or improperly chiseled sigil by one of my associates? Mayhaps I overexerted the Field Generator? Perhaps the void island itself is somehow strange? Further research will be required.

One thing, however, is certain. While not as potent as Blackrock, the Entropic Residue has some very nasty capacities. Further research into use of the Entropic Residue as a weapon against Sanctus and perhaps even other foes in Malas are to be considered.

Furthermore, the use of the residue, albeit in alchemically modified forms, appears to have a strengthening effect on the Undead. While it is still harmful if not properly distilled, properly prepared residue has the effect of empowering the undead, so blessed, with increased strength and a greater lust for battle. This effect will require further testing upon living specimens to determine viability for our mortal members.
