In real life, Gwenno was Kathleen Jones, the wife of David Watson.

David Watson is the man upon whom Richard Garriott based the Ultima character, Iolo FitzOwen.

Kathleen was the inspiration for Iolo's wife, Gwenno, and it was she who composed the Ultima tune, "Stones."

Kathleen passed away in 2000 and was memorialized in UO with a large tombstone in Ilshenar.

The memorial can be found by going straight downscreen from the Valor Moongate to a road. Follow the road screen left, across a stream, and Gwenno's tomb will be on your left.
