TMA-13 today from the
Baiknour space facility on
the Kazakh steppe, bound for the International Space Station where he will spend the next 10 days.
Richard Garriott, the designer of Ultima and original Lord British, is the British born son of astronaut Owen Garriott. When told of his son's accomplishment, the 77 year old former astronaut exclaimed, "Wot!! I told those idiots he would try to sneak aboard!"
Our Lord British plans to spend his days aboard the space station conducting experiments, avoiding capture, and playing Ultima Online "from really far out."
