Come out among the stars,

And hear the tale of kin and flight,

A secret oath to find a keep,

Upon the questing elven ship - Beloved Eambar.

Your father's father, Valadar,

With curiosity, Awoke in fragrant fields afar,

Irmo's land of sight and dreams,

He heard a call through wind and storms,

"Illuvatar summons thee."

So sworn to be a Venturer,

He sailed to distant seas,

Dropped anchor off the Isle of Dagger,

Found Snowy lands and giant men,

Spied Eru's seed: a tall white-mained maid,

Ensconsed within their keep.

Vows exchanged, elf and giant blessed,

Young Valadar fulfilled his quest.
