Title: Ritual for Oblivion

Author: Metios

The ritual would involve a sacrifice to Oblivion. Similar to the ones held at Black Mass weekly I suppose, but not the common paladin. The soul to be sacrificed would have to be one that has absolutely no fotune in life. The sacrifice of the soul would be to show that Oblivion is much more enlightening in death than the Virtues are in life. As stated before the first soul to be sacrificed should be a soul that is not fortunate in life. The second soul to be sacrificed, however should preferably be a person that is very fortunate in life.... say a noble or such. This would be to show that no matter how much one follows the Virtues, or has in life, they are not safe from the grasp of death and Oblivion. The ritual would conclude with the offering of the souls to Oblibion and then spontaneous sacrifice.

Izrem's Copy Notes:

-The process explained herein is, in essence, the process of the Black Mass. For any outsiders who have never partaken of the Black Mass (and never intend to) this is what you will experience at such a "commune".

-The primary differences between this ritual and the normal Black Mass, is that the Black Mass focuses around the detriment of the Virtues through the deaths of paladins, priests, monks, etc. The point of this ritual lacks any magical components. This ritual details murder of uninvolved groups in an effort to show that no persons are above reach of the Order of the Ebon Skull. The fact that the author, Metios, a man not known for his prowess in the arcane arts, is writing this book, suggests he knows little if any thing that is gained by this swap in sacrifices.

-This ritual can be relegated as another chest-beating attempt by a wayward member of the Order.
