The ashen grove, that mystic forest once sprawled without sinlight in the depths of the world. Caves and the depths before it was clear cut to make room for the mystic city and for other reasons. For a while it was even en vogue to create furnature from the rare pale woods. A Tragedy. I have also found hints that the Silver Sapling itself was hewn from a tree called the Silver Oak. A Massive thing that sadly was lost to time.
The Ashen grove was secretly replanted carefully and over many years by one Flavius Delmot, planted and forgotten about near the city of Wind as an experiment. I need to make a point to visit there one day and see how it fares after all these generations.
