I also spoke with X about it. He stated that he knew not what they did, but that one was on the "Island where Brin had her house." I will need to ask Brin where this is.
I happened to be in the area of Yew, and dropped in on Shela at the Outpost. I mentioned the rune to her, and she took me to see Lord Ghaleon. I knew of him by reputation. he is reputed to work with the Followers of Armaggedon. If anyone other then Shela took me to him, I would have benn concerned. Even so, I plan to take it up with her. At any ratem he was very intrested in the rune and gated us to Ocllo. I showed it to him. He explained that it represented the letter "O". It was a magical wrighting, as if someone used pure magic as ink. he has no idea why it was their. It could be to ward something, or to be a reminder. I mentioned that it had appeared in the last few monthes and he became even more intrested.
In the course of our conversation, he cast several spells at it, includeing Unlock Magic, Dispel Field, Recall,and Reveal. I now realy need to find out where that other Rune X mentioned is.

I have conducted a search of recent new articles, trying to find something that may be related to the rune. The closest I could find is an article related to the capture of an FOA leader. The leader was captured on word from a mage maned Onjaan. Given the data in the article, I doubt that he has the power to make the rune, and the capture took place in Shame.
Coresponding with X via notes left in the tower, I was able to question him on the rune. It seems that we no longer have any runes marked for the island, but he knows which island it was and is willing to take me there in his ship. We will try to make the trip in two days time.
